Starting January 1st, 2008 Red Diamond Labradors will be implementing the policy below concerning our:

 

PRICES

 

Puppy Prices: Prices on puppies vary from litter to litter based on which Studs we use. Please call or email to inquire about prices of current or upcoming litters.Deposits: A non-refunable deposit of $100.00 is required to hold your pick puppy of choice. Deposits are gender and color specific. All deposits are first come first serve and are highly recommended as our puppies sell fast. Shipping: $300 within the continental United States. The total price includes the airfare, crate and the health certificate required by airlines for puppies to fly. All puppies are shipped out of WICHITA,KS we use Pets First Delta Airlines. Military Discount: Red Diamond Labrador gives a 10% discount to all Active Duty and Retired Military. Thank you for your Service!

*Sales Agreement*

 

Breeder’s Agreement: To the best of my ability the puppy is in good health. Puppy will be dewormed with NEMEX II (pyrantel pamoate) at 2,3,4,6 and 8 weeks of age. Puppy will have de-claws removed and all appropriate vaccines will be current and up to date at time of sale. The puppy’s are examined by my vet and has been given a good bill of health.Buyer’s Agreement: As of date of sale buyer takes full responsibility and breeder will not be held responsible for the death, illness or any incurred vet bills of the puppy due to improper care or treatment. Buyer is to make every effort to provide proper shelter, high quality food (not soy based), training, socialization, and keeping your puppy current on all vaccines as well as provide any further care your puppy/dog needs through out his life.~ IMPORTANT~ Your puppy needs a series of shots every 3-4 weeks starting at 6 weeks of age until 16 weeks of age. At 16 weeks your pup will also need his first Rabies vaccine. Be sure to avoid taking your puppy to parks, pet stores, or other public places until all vaccines have been completed at 4 months of age~

 

 

*Health, Hip and Eye Guarantee*

12 month Health Guarantee: If within 12 months of age your puppy dies or a life threatening birth defect is found bring a licensed veterinarian’s diagnosis and all registration papers back to breeder ( breeder has choice of getting a second opinion) then the breeder will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value. Red Diamond never at any time refunds money.28 month Hip Guarantee: If the puppy is found to have moderate or severe hip displaysia as a result of genetic defects before 28 months of age, and has been properly evaluated by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and given a rating below Fair, breeder will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value after papers from OFA and all registration papers are returned to the breeder. This guarantee does not cover dysplasia due to injury or improper nutrition or environmental conditions. If puppy has not been x-rayed and evaluated by OFA by 28 months of age, this guarantee is void.Eye guarantee: Puppy is guaranteed against inherited eye disorders for 12 months. Any aquired eye disorders are not covered in this guarantee. Exams must be performed by a Canine Ophthalmologist only. Puppy is also covered 2 years for PRA. PRA is uncommon in Field bred dogs. Replacement Puppies: Buyer is only allowed one replacement puppy, All Guarantee’s VOID if: RedDiamondLabs is not used somewhere in the dogs registered name. If the puppy has been bred, sired, or conceived a litter. If the puppy has been sold to a third party.

We do not require you to forfeit your puppy in the event that it must be replaced due to an inherited defect. We allow you to keep your dog, but it MUST be spayed or neutered, with proof being supplied to the satisfaction of RED DIAMOND prior to proceeding with a replacement puppy.

RE-HOMING POLICY

If at any time in your new puppy’s life, you are no longer able to care for him, we REQUIRE that the dog be returned to us for re-homing or a simple life of leisure at our ranch. ALL registration papers, health clearances, shot/vet records, are to be returned with the dog and signed over to us. All shipping/transport is your responsibility. The dog will be taken to our vet immediately for an exam and any needed vaccinations/meds. If the dog is in good health and temperament, we will try to re-home him with an approved family from our waiting list. If there is an approved family that is within close proximity to your place of residence, we may ask that you take the dog to its new home instead of transporting it back to us, after first taking him to your vet for an exam and all necessary vaccinations. A letter from your vet is REQUIRED and MUST be supplied with the dog. Microchip identification must appear on all correspondence from your vet. Any dog showing signs of serious aggression or viciousness towards people or other dogs will be humanely euthanized. Any dog found with life threatening or debilitating disease or condition that affects quality of life will be euthanized, including but not limited too, cancer, severe epilepsy, heart conditions, and severe hip dysplasia. Any dog carrying or showing signs of a contagious disease that CANNOT be treated will be euthanized, including but not only, late stage parvo, kennel cough, severe heartworm infestation, brucellosis.
