 Dear Michaela, Nick is now 18 months old and has probably matured physically.  He’s 26″ at the withers and 90 lbs.  He’s enjoying his summer at the lake, where he has the freedom he likes.  He goes for a swim everyday and enjoys chasing butterflies and keeping the ducks off our lawn.  We have to keep an eye out for wolves, as they have become a problem lately, already attacking a dog on the lake and killing about 30 spring calfs.  Nick had a mishap running in the woods the other day, when he cut the tissue between two of his toes, required three stitches.  I won’t bore you with a litany of his attributes, but he continues to be the best dog we have ever had, with an intelligence and disposition that impresses everyone who comes in contact with him.  He has enriched our lives immensely.  Hope everything is well with you and your family….Sincerely, Mike,Kay and Two-Hearted Nick.

Sadie is so sweet and such a great puppy. She makes me laugh…. but is adapting to our gotta do tricks, gotta fetch, gotta love water and gotta hang with us expectations. Tomorrow we are all headed to dog beach for Tim’s birthday. She has a blast there with all the dogs and we love going to the beach with her….  She is enjoying the Southern California lifestyle..”
